Head of Department

The department strives to train and empower our students who will make the world a better place by making use of engineering principles, techniques and systems. To that end, considerable initiatives have been taken to establish good laboratories in the areas of Industrial Electronics, optical communication, Microcontroller and Applications, Radar & Microwave, Analog & Digital Communication, Linear integrated circuit, Digital Signal Processing, Microcomputer, Hardware mini project ,circuits and network, Embedded and VLSI design with required hardware and simulation.

So the primary objective of the department is to impart quality education, training and research at the undergraduate of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering with broad emphasis on design aspects of electronic systems.

Here the students are given more practical exposures and innovative methodologies for the design and development in the electronics field, which is the backbone for all Engineering disciplines.

The department is taking efforts for students to step forward to required knowledge to make them competent, familiar and conversant with current and upcoming technologies by arranging expert talks from industry people and academician, Also by organizing workshop on recent trends in the field of Electronics and telecommunication Engineering.

It offers an excellent field infrastructure and study environment. It has well qualified and experienced faculty with areas of specialization in communication systems, Signal and Image processing, embedded systems and Applied Electronics .The well-equipped lab facilities favor individual concentration as there are not more than two or three students in any practical group.

As a part of the curriculum, Industrial visit are arranged. Students of our department actively participate in National level Technical as well as non-technical competition being organized at various engineering colleges and university.

Here, the students are provided with greater exposure in the core areas of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering as compared to the students admitted in a similar program at other institutes of the state. The students are also encouraged to participate in the technical activities apart from the regular curriculum.
